This particular piece carries a unique provenance—its Sapele wood was sourced from the same pallet used in the production of the television series Doom Patrol, while the black plexiglass was repurposed from materials used in Teen Wolf.
 
The clock’s surface has been intentionally left in its raw, unfinished state, preserving the natural texture and character imparted by the sawmill. Rather than forming a single, seamlessly joined board, the wood has been arranged in unglued strips, allowing the organic curves and natural gaps between the pieces to remain visible. This design choice highlights the raw beauty of the material, celebrating its imperfections and natural flow, while also creating an intriguing visual interplay between the rich, warm tones of the Sapele and the sleek, modern contrast of the black plexiglass.
